Welcome to The Beyond Chatroom. This is a big experiment for The Beyond. We would like to hopefully build a larger, and more friendly paranormal community here, and hope that a chatroom might help make that happen. We're working on ideas for possibly regularly scheduled paranormal chats. If you have any, let us know, but for now let's see how this goes. Red is host, and in charge of the whole thing. Name change instructions: Because IRC is worldwide, a LOT of people use it. Unfortunately, your favorite chat nicknames are most likely already taken, so you may have to add some numbers or alter it in some other way to it to make it unique. When the chat starts, by default your nickname will be set as 'Beyonder'. Sometimes, the user name is taken, and you have to type in a new name. It's VERY easy to change your nickname. At the bottom Right corner of the chatroom, there is a 'thing' that says, "Change nick to". Right below that, there is a field that you can type in. Just type your name in there, and hit enter. If the name is taken, you will not be able to connect to the chat until you pick a name that is NOT taken. There are other ways to change your name as well. All you have to do is type "/nick" before the name you want to use. You know that place in the chatroom where you type stuff in? If you can't figure that out, please just turn off your computer, and never activate it again. All you have to do is figure out what you want to use for your nickname... Say you want your name to be..."Chupacabra". You'd type, /nick Chupacabra If you want your nickname to be "EverlastingGobstopper"... You'd type, /nick EverlastingGobstopper If you want your nickname to be CaptainPoopyPants... You'd type, /nick CaptainPoopyPants Like I said, It's pretty easy. If you cant figure it out at this point, please turn your computer off immediately.
