Hair Raising Experience
By
Sue
I have shoulder length
hair and my husband likes to play with my hair while we're sitting
on the couch at night watching television. He'll brush it, pull
it up off my neck, etc. One night he was at work and I
was home alone. I was watching television when I felt my
hair being lifted off my shoulders! I jumped up out of the
recliner, spun around and there wasn't anyone there. There
was no mistaking the feeling. It wasn't a touch, my hair was
literally being pulled upward. I knew before this happened that
we had a ghost. What I hadn't realized was how closely we
were being watched. To this day I won't let my husband touch
my hair.

Something In The Hallway
By
Season
2005
As you may have read in
one of my other stories, my husband does not believe in this stuff at
all. In my story The
Warm Touch you can read one of only two
experiences he has had in his life. And like the other occurrence, he
doesn't like to talk about this one either. But one morning after I
sent the kids off to school, I laid back down to get a couple more
hours of sleep. He came in and woke me up with this "I just seen a
ghost" look on his face and asked me if I had just walked through my
bedroom doorway. I said, "duh, you just woke me up". LOL! He said he
knew that anyway because what he saw didn't look anything like me and
he said that there was no way I could have gotten back in bed before he
reached the door (he ran to it).
He proceeded
to tell me that he was walking past the hallway to our kitchen from our
living room when something caught his eye at the end of the hallway.
When he turned to look he said he saw "something" walk into your
bedroom (where I was sleeping) from the hall. He was trying to describe
it but he was nervous and flustered. He finally got out that it was
"see-through" but definitely a figure, he was confused on how he could
see it, if it were "see-through". But he did. And he said it went
right through the open doorway into our room. After that, my
husband starting running around to each bedroom and the bathroom
looking for someone that might have broken into our house. When nothing
turned up he just grabbed his forehead, shook it, and walked back into
the living room shrugging his shoulders. In truth, I think he does
believe, he just doesn't want to admit it. Or is afraid of it.

White Figure
By
Season
2005
My stepson
got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. As he was
climbing back in bed he said he saw a white, glowing figure go into my
bedroom from the hallway. He woke me up to tell me this. I just told
him not to be afraid because whatever it was, it wouldn't hurt him.
This goes along with so many of the things I have seen in that very
spot so I believed him. And I had never told him about any of the
things I saw, I didn't want to scare them.

The Cowboy
By
Season
2004
No one else has had an apparition actually communicate
with them like I have, but to lend a bit more credibility to my
experiences, I am not the only one in my house who has seen things. One
day my son called me into his bedroom and told me to hurry. He was
pointing out the window and said that a man in a cowboy hat just walked
passed his window and onto our porch. When he got to the porch he just
vanished. My son said he just thought it was a regular man until he
disappeared right before his eyes. Again, to lend credibility, the man
who owned this house, built it, and died in my bedroom wore a cowboy
hat a lot. I never told my son that, nor did I tell him after his
experience because I didn't want to scare him. The neighbors who
knew the owner of this house told me that, and speaking of neighbors,
we live outside of city limits and our neighbors are an acre away. |

Night Time Pest
By Season
Around 2002-2003
I can't remember if I had already been asleep or if I was
drifting off to sleep but suddenly I had this incredible feeling like I
was being watched and the urge to quickly look towards the doorway to
my bedroom. There in the doorway stood a man with medium brown hair
(thinning on top) and brown eyes. It's been a long time but I think I
remember he had on a short-sleeved button down shirt tucked into jeans.
I couldn't' see his feet, not that I was taking the time to study him
because this guy was NOT very nice.
He just looked at me with this leering grin on his face. I
immediately yelled, "leave" and he was gone right before my eyes. I
laid my head back down on the pillow (wide awake) in hopes of going
back to sleep but just a few seconds later I got the feeling he wasn't
gone. I looked over and sure enough he was back. This time he
"chuckled" at me and I got the feeling that he was having a good time
scaring me. I got out of bed and stomped at him telling him firmly to
leave and he did. I never saw him again.
I don't know why I have this impression as my description
of him to a neighbor didn't quite fit but I just have this feeling that
I had seen the owner of the house. The guy who owned this house not
only owned it, but he built it himself. He died alone (his wife and
kids left him) in my bedroom of diabetes. He never got to make the
finishing touches (inside doors etc) on the house before he died.
